Factions Related Question. - Guild Wars Forums

Hey people, i've got a question that i've never noticed yet. Currently my Ritualist is in Vizunah Square. I wan't to get to Vasburg Armory (Kurzick Armor) and i'm not sure about this:

- Can you/someone run you to Vasburg Armory, from ANY town before it? Even from Arborstone, but trying to get there from Kaineng City, so anything would be appreciated. Or is there any other way to get there without doing missions? My Ritualist has done NF and don't wanna do the Factions, i just like the Elite Kurzick Armor, so i'm looking for a quick way to get there

No.

The map is littered with closed gates and NPCs that won't let you through if you don't meet the requirements(completed the primary quests/farmed the faction/did the mission.)

No you can't run Factions like you can Prophecies. You will have to do the Kurzick side (or Befriending the Kurzick and then the Luxon side and go around the Luxon side to Vasburg Armory, but that is more work than just doing the Kurzick side) of the storyline.

As others said above me, Factions is completely different from Prophecies. Gates literally are closed and block portals unless you beet the quest requirements.

Not 100% positive, but isn't there a zone somewhere in Kaineng City with two levels..which...if you had Necrotic Traversal and killed someone on a different level of that zone, you could teleport to their corpse and keep walking south to Maatu Keep? Sort of like a glitch I guess, never tried it. Haven't played in that area in a lonnngg time.

As others have mentioned, gates etc. Eg. you can't get into Gyala explorable from Gyala Mission area, you have to enter from Leviathan Pits/or Rhea's Crater, a lotta Factions like that, you have to follow story or backtrack and do quests for each Faction etc.
